JIM JAMES
Going through old photos is great. As I mentioned a few days ago I recently purchased a film scanner and I am now digitizing lots of old negatives. This is one I love of Jim James of My Morning Jacket when they played Coachella years ago.

KAREN O VIA HOLGA
I just received my new scanner in the mail yesterday and I was playing around with it last night in an attempt to figure out just how it works. Color film has thus far proved a bit tricky but black and white seems to be super easy. This is one of the many shots I took a few years back at Coachella. I lost the digital files when my computer crashed but the beauty of film is that I can just rescan them now. Please forgive the dust and such on the photo. I didn’t feel like cleaning things up just yet.

CASPERS
I took a hike at Caspers Wilderness Park a few months ago. Shot some photos with my Holga. I got the photos back on Friday and pretty much felt like I wasted the $5 worth of film and $15 of developing. It stings a little when you have a bad role. This is probably the best of the bunch. Nothing spectacular but it seems pretty old and that makes me happy.

THE RYDE OUR BIRD SWEATSHIRT
From The Ryde’s Fall 2010 line the Our Bird sweatshirt features a front embroidered bird logo and artwork screen printedv0on the inside back. The fabric is a heather 55% cotton 45% polyester french terry. Our Bird features contrast zipper tape, neck tape, stitching and eyelets. It also has contrast drawcords and drawcord tips. It is not up on TheRyde.com yet but you can get it here.
